2019+ Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 & More (5.3L / 6.2L V8) TruPower by STILLEN Cold Air Intake - TP403504 / 505 / 506 / 507

AVAILABILITY NOTICE:

Oiled filters & systems are available now.
Dry filters and systems will begin shipping June 1st, 2026

Features & Benefits

  • Proven Power and Torque Gains - 15 WHP and 12 lb-ft of torque on the intake alone. Where applicable, paired with the STILLEN TruPower Cold Air Scoop, gains reach 24 WHP and 21 lb-ft.*
  • Sealed Low-Temperature Airbox - Engineered to source air from behind the headlight, inside an opening in the frame rails, the coldest location identified during extensive engine bay thermal mapping. Dense, oxygen-rich air means a better burn and more power.
  • Straight-Shot Intake Tube - Rotational cast polyethylene tube eliminates the restrictive baffles, resonators, and turbulence-inducing chambers of the OEM unit, delivering smooth, high-velocity airflow directly to the throttle body.
  • Massive Washable and Reusable Air Filter - Available in oiled or dry media, sealed against the airbox with a purpose-built dual-flange design that eliminates bypass air and ensures every intake charge is filtered.
  • Polycarbonate Inspection Window - A clear STILLEN-branded lid provides instant visual access to filter condition without tools or disassembly.
  • Real-World Fuel Economy Improvement - Beta testers reported gains of 1 to 2 MPG in real-world driving.
  • Complete Plug-and-Play Hardware Kit - Includes all couplers, PCV hoses, MAF sensor extension harness, and rubber MAF gasket for a stress-free, leak-free install.
  • Engineered Options for Both EcoTec3 V8 Platforms - Fully compatible with the 5.3L and 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engines, covering the full range of half-ton Silverado and Sierra V8 applications in a single bolt-on solution. Also fits the 2021+ Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban & Escalade with the same engine(s).

2019+ Chevy Silverado 1500 / GMC Sierra 1500 (5.3L & 6.2L V8) & More STILLEN Cold Air Intake System [TP403504 / 505 / 506 / 507] Description:

Six years is a long time to keep the phones ringing. Since STILLEN released its TruPower Cold Air Scoop for the Silverado, and Sierra, in 2019, the question never stopped: when is the full cold air intake coming? The answer is now. What took so long was not indifference. It was doing the job the right way.

More Than Just an Airbox and a Tube

Before a single prototype was cut, the STILLEN team set out to understand the factory system from the ground up. The first clue had already surfaced during scoop development, when opening the front inlet grille area gained nearly 10 horsepower on the dyno. If the front end was that choked, the rest of the system almost certainly was too. The factory intake channels air through the front core support, which is a good concept, but puts a hard ceiling on total airflow volume. Once it saturates, there is nowhere else for the engine to pull from.

Following the Temperature Data

Rather than guess, STILLEN instrumented the engine bay with temperature sensors and mapped thermal conditions across the entire space. More airflow from the wrong location means hotter air, larger molecules, and a less efficient burn. The net power gain can be deceptively small. What the data revealed was a consistent low-temperature zone behind the headlight, inside an opening in the frame rails. Protected from engine heat by the wheel liner, this location pulls naturally ventilated air from outside the engine bay and became the foundation of the entire airbox design.

Clearing Out the Turbulence

The factory intake tube is loaded with resonators, baffles, and muffler chambers engineered for mass-market refinement. Those chambers slow the air, create turbulence, and force the charge to work harder before it ever reaches the throttle body. STILLEN eliminated all of it. The replacement tube runs a straight, smooth path from airbox to engine, maximizing velocity and minimizing restriction.

The Filter as a Sealing System

The STILLEN filter incorporates a secondary flange that extends past the filter media and interfaces directly with the airbox housing, creating a fully sealed joint at both the tube connection and the box. Every molecule of intake air goes through the element. None of it bypasses.

What It Means Behind the Wheel

Two years of development and real-world beta testing produced results that speak for themselves. The intake alone delivered 15 WHP and 12 lb-ft of torque on the dyno. Paired with the STILLEN TruPower Cold Air Scoop, those numbers swelled to 24 WHP and 21 lb-ft at the rear wheels.* Exceptional figures for a naturally aspirated V8. As a bonus, beta testers also often reported 1-2 MPG gains in real-world driving. Proof that when the engine breathes better, everything downstream improves: response off the pedal, engine efficiency, power under load, and consistency that holds up whether you are towing, hauling, or just running hard.
